We are back from Gorkha with so many stories to share with you all. Until then, we have photos to share with you that capture the ongoing construction of the Sarswati Peace School.
During our time in Gorkha, we met with some of the parents and the children who are to be enrolled in May 2011, as well as interviewed a number of potential staff members for the school. For more photos, click here.
Update from Everest: Climbing for Education

Ania Lichota summited Mt. Everest on May 22 along with six fellow climbers. Ania's conquest of the highest mountain in the world, completes her circuit of climbing the highest mountains of each of the seven continents.
The Sarswati Foundation Leadership Team and all of our supporters, are incredibly proud of Ania and her dedication to philanthropy through her love for climbing.

SARSWATI PEACE SCHOOL
"Nurturing Young Dreams"
We are creating affordable, sustainable education where Nepali children are empowered to succeed collaboratively in their environment. The school is specially geared towards the war-affected children so that they can reclaim their passion and dream in life. The school currently has 217 students from O level to 4th grade.
